Rev. Jo nygard owens

In 2009 I began the process of refreshing the look and feel of all the communications vehicles at the church where I served as associate pastor. New logo, new website, new bulletin and business cards and letterhead. I knew just enough about graphic design then to be dangerous, and we managed to stumble through the process. But the process ignited something within me. I discovered the joy of helping churches communicate who they are with a clear visual language.

Though I’m a North Carolina girl born and bred, I attended undergrad and seminary in Georgia (UGA and Columbia Theological Seminary). After graduation from seminary, I quickly moved back to NC where I met my husband, grew our family, and served a few churches both as associate pastor and communications director.

At the end of 2018, my family left North Carolina to make a new home in Cleveland, OH when Trinity Episcopal Cathedral called BJ as their new dean.

I am available to supply preach, lead retreats (women’s, youth, whole church, and more), and dance in worship in the greater Cleveland area.
